My Career Goals

• I want to find a summer internship for 2022. I decide to learn Java with course videos for 2 hours a day. I also decide to do some coding practices each weekday on LeetCode. I hope that I could make this goal before March. (achieved)
• I want to finish two projects by myself for my resume. I decided to take a course on Udemy for a full stack web application project and make a project of a Mobile App on CodePath. I hope I could finish each project in about 2 months.
• I want to set up my personal blog without templates. I think this could do me a lot of favor of practicing applying what I have learned. I will try to manage this before 2022 fall semester.

My Career Goals

• I am good at communicating with others and could consider about things from many aspects. I used to show my ability of this when I was the captain of my college debating team and help our school get the first win, which is from 0 to 1.
• I have a good leadership. I used to lead the whole news center of our college when I was an undergraduate and lead 4 departments of about 30 people. When I led the big team, I helped broaden the official accounts of our college from 1 to 3 and apply to get the official authorization from the social medias.
• I am humorous. I could always make each one around me happy. I could never let a lecture become embarrassing and I could help people work together in an easy atmosphere and make the working more effective.

Top 6 Companies I would like to work for

1. Google. I really love the google technologies and chrome make me very impressive. I also love the easy working atmosphere. I want to be an engineer there.
2. Microsoft. I think windows is the greatest PC operating system and I love Office very much, especially Excel, which I think the most powerful office software. I hope I could build the same powerful software there.
3. Bytedance. A great Corporation from China, which is my motherland. I think TikTok is the best social media I have ever seen, which could be the future software. I love working for a brighter future.
4. Apple. In my opinion, Apple is the best product designer Corporation in this world, since it could always give you a surprise.
5. Amazon. It is friendly to the students in our school and the techs there also impress me.
6. Meta. Facebook is a software which always attracts me.

My Professional Introduction

My name is Jihao (Richard) Zhang, who is currently a graduate student in Khoury College of Computer Science at Northeastern University. I used to be an undergraduate student from China major in German Literature. I love computer science and love combining the knowledge from computer science and literature, which could always give me some inspirations. I am familiar with Object-Oriented Programing Languages such as Java, Python, C++ and JavaScript. I also command many basic data structures and algorithms for a more effective coding. I am interested in Web developing and Game Design. I could develop front-end pages with React.js and Vue.js and design the back-end developments with Express and Flask. I am also good at using Unreal Engine4 to build some simple 2D games. I am an active boy and loving communicating with others. I hope that I could become a great software engineer in one day and help build a brighter future.
